Elections of IAPSM for 2009-2010

·       Fellowships & Orations for 2009:

-Criteria & format for applications/ nomination have changed:     

 Please visit the IAPSM  website at www.iapsm.org.in for  details.

-Last date for receiving nominations is 2nd October, 2008.

 ·       Elections: As per the General Body Meeting decision of 24 January 2008, election for one
      post of President and 12 posts of members of the Governing Council for 2009-10 will be 
      held through postal ballot.

  1. South :Karnataka, Kerala, AP & Tamil Nadu  ( 2 Posts)
  1. South Central  : MP, Chattisgarh & Jharkhand ( 2 Posts)
  1. North Central : Delhi, UP, Uttaranchal & Bihar ( 2 Posts)
  1. North East : WB, Orissa, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Arunachal, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram & Meghalaya ( 2 Posts)
  1. North : J&K, HP, Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh ( 2 Posts)
  1. West  : Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, & Goa ( 2 Posts)

 Please note:

 A.  A life member can hold the post of Member of the Governing Council only for 2
        consecutive years. There has to be a break of at least one year after that.

  B. Women life members are encouraged to apply for these posts.

  C. Please read the Constitution of IAPSM on the IAPSM site for eligibility criteria for
       these posts.
